Growing Communities Networking

Growing Communities Networking
Our free monthly Growing Communities Networking Events empower charities and services to boost collaboration, forge strong partnerships and enhance support for people with mental health challenges. Find out how to get involved…
If you work for charities or organisations that support people who are struggling with their mental health in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Growing Communities Networking Events are a must for your diary.

Run by Plants and Minds and held monthly at Cherry Tree Nursery in Bournemouth, these unique, free networking events are open to anyone who works with or supports people experiencing mental health challenges.

Taking place once a month on a Monday – a great way to start the working week – each event offers an invaluable opportunity for participants to share ideas, pool resources and strengthen their portfolio of contacts.

Guest speakers provide unique insight into their charity or service, while allowing plenty of time for questions and networking opportunities after their presentation is over.

Local organisations that have recently taken part in Growing Communities Networking Events, or are due to present at a 2026 event, include Bournemouth Samaritans, Citizens Advice BCP, Access Wellbeing Hubs, Community Action Network (CAN) and YMCA.
