If a round of golf is your cup of tee, it’s time to show off your skills on the green – and score a hole in one for mental health charity Plants and Minds!

The Fortress Mortgage Services Charity Golf Day will take place on 8 May at Knighton Heath Golf Club in Bournemouth, and only a limited number of spaces are available.

This ‘beau-tee-ful’ day of golf, great food and excellent company will raise funds for Plants and Minds, which supports adults with life-impacting mental health conditions at Cherry Tree Nursery in Bournemouth and Chestnut Nursery in Poole.

Priced at £300 per team of four, the day includes a bacon roll and tea/coffee on arrival, a fabulous round of golf, and a delicious two-course lunch afterwards at the prestigious Knighton Heath Golf Club.

Plants and Minds Community Liaison Officer, Maria Tidy, said: “Whether you’re a keen amateur golfer or a budding Jack Nicklaus, the Fortress Mortgage Services Charity Golf Day is a fantastic opportunity for team-building, boosting morale and unwinding from stress at a beautiful Dorset location.

“All funds raised will help Cherry Tree Nursery and Chestnut Nursery to continue providing their highly successful horticultural therapy programme for people experiencing mental health challenges – which is proven to enhance wellbeing, reduce isolation, equip people with new skills and create opportunities to rebuild confidence.

Competitions on the day will include a Team Pink Ball Competition, Individual Competition, Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, Beat the Pro and more.
